#Steinathome This Oktoberfest
The lead up to October can mean only one thing – Oktoberfest is coming. This brew-tastic festival first came about in 1810 and has brought every ale aficionado a brilliant experience ever since.
You’re most likely reading this thinking: “isn’t Oktoberfest 2020 cancelled?” It is, officially, but not for us – no way! Beerhunter wants to make sure all of you hop heads don’t miss out on this remarkable event.
That’s why we’ve conjured up the perfect plan: to help you recreate this original festival from the comfort of your own home. Although you can’t fly over to Germany to party with your pals, you won’t have to say auf wiedersehen to Oktoberfest this year (hurray)!
Let’s Reinvent This Festival in 2020
Usually, this time of year sees around six million people flock to the biggest fairground in Munich – the Theresienwiese, where Oktoberfest takes place. Visitors clink their steins together in bold Bavarian beer tents to celebrate the world’s largest beer festival.
To bolster the hype around this iconic Volksfest, we’re going to be posting a series of blogs throughout the month, to teach you how to #steinathome (and in the true traditional style). So, keep your eyes peeled for a whole bunch of fun-filled, informative articles and “go-to” guides. You’ll find tips from the likes of craft beer connoisseurs, foodies, and an array of other experts.
We’ve got some creative competitions planned for our loyal social followers, too. Yep, this means all of you fellow beer hunters have a chance of winning oodles of Oktoberfest-themed prizes! Follow us on our social channels (if you don’t already) to make sure you don’t miss out!
Plus, we’ve purposely created some special German beer bundles (including 10-packs of the best brews) for you to slurp down on this incredible occasion. You can even grab a beer tasting gift set, which really brings this new version of the folk festival to life.
Die Party Lebt Weiter (The Party Lives On)
Don’t be ale alone at home this Oktoberfest, join us for a fresh take on this adventurous event, instead. Let’s make this year one to remember! If you’re looking to dance, drink and listen to music as you would in Munich, Beerhunter will help you do just that.
