Discover the exceptional depth and complexity of Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel, a powerful Belgian Abbey ale brewed by the historic De Halve Maan Brewery in Bruges. Crafted using traditional Belgian brewing methods, six carefully selected malts, and bottle conditioning, this award-winning Quadrupel delivers remarkable richness, elegance, and ageing potential.
Full-bodied and beautifully balanced, it's one of Belgium's finest strong dark ales.
Brewed using traditional Belgian brewing techniques, Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel pours a deep mahogany-brown colour with ruby highlights and a thick, creamy tan head. Aromas of raisins, figs, dark chocolate, roasted malt, caramel, and warming spice lead into a luxurious full-bodied palate. Expect flavours of dark fruits, toffee, molasses, cocoa, roasted malt, liquorice, and gentle peppery spice, finishing smooth, warming, and exceptionally complex.
Produced by De Halve Maan Brewery, one of Belgium's oldest family-owned breweries, Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel is bottle-conditioned for enhanced flavour development and can continue to mature beautifully with age.
Rich, complex, and expertly crafted, Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel showcases the very best of Belgian brewing tradition, delivering exceptional depth, warmth, and character in every bottle.
