Founded by two brothers-in-law in 1982 in a dilapidated cowshed, Brasserie d’Achouffe is based in the Belgian Ardennes, although they have moved out of the cowshed.
Achouffe is a nod to the local village and as for the gnome on their bottles – well, that was a flash of inspiration by brewer Chris.
