Pilsner, or just Pils, is a pale lager which originated in Pilsen in the Czech Republic. Traditionally paler than lager it generally has a bit more body and a stronger, spicy character. This is the Freedom take on a classic Pilsner. Brewed with lager and cara malt and a blend of Liberty, Saaz and Centennial hops. With a golden colour and subtle bitterness balancing the malt body, this beer demonstrates a distinctive citrus aroma from European and American hop varieties.
